If we want civilizating mathematical in school, so we should think about mathematical education, mathematical learning, mathematical thinking, etc. Katagiri (2004) describes the mathematical thinking has three aspects: first, mathematics attitude, the second, and third methods of mathematical thinking, mathematical content. So think of mathematics as well stretch on mathematical thinking in its dimensions, that is to think of mathematics at the school / or college. In general, the attitude shown by the indicators of mathematical pleasure and willing to learn math, favorable attitudes to mathematics learning, many knowledge to learn mathematics, curiosity, ability to ask questions, the willingness to acquire skills and experience of mathematics.
Mathematics to civilize the nation's superiority can be gained through innovation to mathematics learning paths in school. Many activities that the author have in PLPG math activities, seminars and workshops in math, obtained from perception that the innovation of learning mathematics teacher should be able to answer the challenge , are:
1. How to promote the learning of mathematics that emphasizes the process
2. How to develop cooperative learning in mathematics learning
3. How to make group learning in mathematics learning
4. How to develop mathematical learning by game, etc.
so to cultivate mathematical understanding of the meaning of mathematics in various dimensions. Mathematical communication includes communication of material, formal, normative, and spiritual. Acculturation of mathematics can contribute to the nation through innovation excellence mathematical learning is done continuously.
